Ingredients of Diet Mat paratha

  1. It's 2 cup of multigrain flour.
  2. It's 1 cup of spinch puree(boil palak, grind into thin consistency puree).
  3. You need 1 cup of carrot puree(boil orange carrot pieces and grind into puree).
  4. You need 2 drops of orange natural food colour (optional).
  5. It's 1/2 tsp of salt.
  6. You need 4 tsp of oil.

  1. Mix multigrain flour and salt. divide into two parts..
  2. To first part of the flour, mix palak puree and Knead properly similarly to second part mix carrot puree and add orange food colour and Knead into soft dough..
  3. Now take a small part from palak dough, roll it out in circular shape using rolling pin, cut it into long strips using knife.
  4. Similarly using orange dough, make circular shape roti, cut it into strips (at one end strips should be joined).
  5. Now weave green strips through orange strips like mat..
  6. Repeat the process till complete roti is weaved using both colour strips..
  7. Now heat the non stick pan on medium flame, place mat paratha on it, cook for 1 min,apply oil, turn it to another side, again apply oil and cook for another minute..
  8. Diet Mat paratha is ready, serve with favourite curry..
